From the version of Cpanel 11.25 and to the modern version 124 databases are included in the total volume of the allocated disk space. This means that all database files are taken into account when calculating consumed resources.
This approach allows:

• Early detect a possible overflow when storage of large amounts of data.
It is recommended to periodically check the database size and optimize them to use the available space as efficiently as possible.
